Take on me - A-ha

Lyrics:

Talking away
I don't know what I'm to say
I'll say it any way
Today is another day to find you
Shying away
Oh, I'll be coming for your love,ok?

Take on me (take on me)
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day or two

So needless to say
I'm odds and ends but I'm me!
Stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is okay
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry

Take on me (take on me)
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day or two

Oh the things that you say
Is it life or just a play
My worries away
You're all the things I forgot to remember
You're shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway

Take on me (take on me)
Take me on (take on me)
I'll be gone
In a day...

(take on me)
(take me on)
(take on me)

I'll be gone
In a day...

R.I.P Jeff Hanneman

Jeffrey John "Jeff" Hanneman (January 31, 1964 – May 2, 2013)[1] was an American guitarist, best known as a founding member of the American thrash metal band Slayer. Influenced by punk music growing up, Hanneman stated that the genre influenced Slayer's sound to create a faster and more aggressive approach. His punk influences were also evident through his placement of a "DK" symbol from the California punk band the Dead Kennedys and likeness of Johnny Rotten on his guitar.

Hanneman had contributed both lyrical and musical material to every Slayer album and wrote the songs "Raining Blood", "War Ensemble", "South of Heaven", "Seasons in the Abyss" and "Angel of Death", which are played at almost every live Slayer show. He had his own signature guitar, the ESP Jeff Hanneman Signature model.

Muse - The 2nd Law

The 2nd Law is the sixth studio album by the English band Muse, released throughout most of the world on 28 September 2012, and elsewhere on 2 October 2012.

The name "The 2nd Law" references the second law of thermodynamics which is quoted in the track "Unsustainable" as follows:
All natural and technological processes proceed in such a way that the availability of the remaining energy decreases. In all energy exchanges, if no energy enters or leaves an isolated system, the entropy of that system increases. Energy continuously flows from being concentrated, to becoming dispersed, spread out, wasted, and useless. New energy cannot be created and high-grade energy is being destroyed. An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.
"Madness", according to NME, features influences which draw from Queen's "I want to break free" and David Bowie's Scary monsters and super creeps album. Frontman Matt Bellamy has stated that dubstep producer Skrillex was an influence when writing one of the final two tracks on the album – "The 2nd Law: Unsustainable". He also stated that the song "Follow Me" was written about his newborn son, Bingham Bellamy. "Panic Station" features musicians who performed on Stevie Wonder's "Superstition".

Pantera - Cowboys From Hell

Is the fifth album by American heavy metal band Pantera, and their first Atco Records album, recorded at Pantego Sound Studio in Pantego, TX and released on July 24, 1990. This was their first commercially successful album, exposing the band's groove metal style to mainstream audiences. Cowboys from Hell is seen as Pantera's "official" debut by most fans, as well as the band itself as they left behind their glam metalpast and began to focus on groove metal. After its release, a logo for the band was made featuring the letters 'CFH' (the abbreviation of the album title) in a circular design.

Transatlantic - The Whirld Tour 2010

Whirld Tour 2010: Live in London is the third live album by the progressive rock supergroup Transatlantic. Released in 2010, it documents the May 21, 2010 show by the band at Sheperd's Bush Empire, England. The show was also filmed and released on a 2-DVD set with additional performances (including a cover of the Genesis song "The Return of the giant Hogweed" with Steve Hackett) and documentary footage. This was the second-to-last show of the "Whirld Tour" (not counting their appearance at The High Voltage Festival) in support of the band's third studio album, The Whirldwind
Daniel Glindelöw of Pain of Salvation returns this tour, playing additional keyboards, guitars, percussion, and vocals throughout the show.
Like their previous live albums, this set features 6 songs, however because of the amount of material the band had thus far, no cover songs are featured (although bits of covers are scattered throughout the show, including Deep Purple's Highway Star, Santana's Soul Sacrfice, and even the McDonal's theme).
This Album shows a Terrific performance by this supergroup. They play really long songs for example "The Whirldwind" is a 79-minutes Master Piece!
I recomend this album for Progressive-Rock fans.

Avantasia - 'The Wicked Trilogy'

The Wicked Trilogy is a three album story about The Scarecrow. The story started with their 2008 album, The Scarecrow, and is concluded by The Wicked Symphony and Angel of Babylon.
Plot:

The story behind the Scarecrow albums is largely open to interpretation. Sammet has stated "I don't wanna ruin the myth. It's not possible to tell the story like a fairytale. I can't go "once upon a time" because it's not as simple as that. You don't have to understand the story, you have to feel it."

"The Scarecrow is a tragic story of a lonesome creature, emotionally isolated from his environment and suffering from a distorted sensory perception. His feelings for the love of his life unrequited, he sets off on a journey exploring the left-hand path, striving for inner peace, sloughing his way to approval and eventually facing temptation at the inner depths of the human soul..." Tobias Sammet.
